Dynamic partnership between The Vermont Retail Association and Acadia Insurance brings VRA Members the New VRA Business Insurance Program! Commercial insurance costs can often be one of the largest annual expenses Vermont retailers face. Knowing this, the VRA has proactively worked with Acadia Insurance to develop an exclusive commercial insurance program designed to take advantage of group buying power.

Acadia Insurance is committed to providing the most comprehensive and competitive products possible to qualifying VRA Members. Acadia offers property and casualty insurance coverage including property, general liability, business auto, umbrella, and workers’ compensation insurance along with enhancement endorsements created to address the specific needs of retailers.

By participating in the New VRA Business Insurance Program, VRA Members not only benefit from the group buying power to receive enhanced product features and more competitive pricing but Members may also qualify for a dividend. Our Members participate in the same dividend program as the Vermont Grocers Association, which has paid dividends in 5 of the last 6 years ranging from 4% to 20% of total eligible policy premiums! (Dividends are contingent upon meeting all program requirements and are not guaranteed.) Not all VRA Members may qualify for the program.
