R. Tasha Wallis, Executive Director

Tasha Wallis joined VRA in 2007, bringing a wealth of experience to the position. A graduate of Cornell University, Tasha holds a Master’s Degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Earlier in her career she worked on projects in Washington, D.C. In Vermont, before joining VRA, Tasha served as Gov. Howard Dean’s Policy Advisor and Commissioner of Labor and Industry. Under Gov. Jim Douglas, she was the Deputy Director of Administration, and Commissioner of Buildings and General Services.

As VRA’s Executive Director, Tasha acts as the Association's chief lobbyist and also manages its day-to-day affairs. Her work includes membership development, member benefits, and media relations.

Ceil Stryminski

Ceil is VRA’s Membership Coordinator. A true VRA veteran, she has been with the Association since 1990. She is responsible for the administration of the membership files and responds to questions about VRA member benefit services. Along with her other tasks she maintains the corporate books and arranges Board and Committee meetings. Her duties also include desktop publishing of the newsletter.

She is responsible for keeping accurate records and for sales journals and cash receipts, as well as payment of bills.

Lori joined the VRA staff in April 2011. She oversees the technical aspects of the financial statements and completes regulatory filing and tax forms.
