The Vermont Retail Association (VRA) is unique. Simply stated, no other organization is better equipped to serve all the key needs of Vermont businesses.
History
VRA was founded in 1968 by a group of Vermont's leading businesspeople. Their goal: help Vermont businesses do business better. Now, more than 40 years later, VRA carries on their legacy by offering a wide variety of benefits and services to hundreds of satisfied members statewide.
Services & Benefits
VRA members enjoy special rates and programs for health and dental insurance, credit card and payroll processing, FedEx shipping, and other important services. In addition, VRA represents members’ interests aggressively in Montpelier.
Governance
VRA is governed by a Board of Trustees who serve three-year terms. The Board meets four times each year in different locations around the state. Standing committees include: Finance, Executive, Marketing, Nominating, and Legislative.
Publications
The Retail Review is published six times a year and includes information about retail trends, statistics, current and proposed laws affecting members, profiles, and information about endorsed services. The DRM Legislative Updates and the Blue Cross Blue Shield Legislative Updates are published weekly while the Vermont legislature is in session (January through April)
